A senior Russian general has been fatally wounded following an detonation in Moscow, according to reports from authorities.
The attack took place on Monday morning when an explosive device placed beneath a vehicle detonated, leading to the death of Lieutenant General Fanil Sarvarov.
Sarvarov served as the head of the armed forces' unit responsible for operational readiness.
Investigators mentioned that one possible explanation points to the alleged involvement of Ukrainian intelligence services. To date, Ukraine has offered no public response.
